I have bought this watch on the Internet, it was brand new, sealed in the manufacturers packaging. It indeed looks very solid and nice. Actually, the reason for buying it was that I wanted all metal watch with a hard to scratch glass. The watch indeed fills these requirements with the room to spare. However, I'm returning the watch to the seller, because:
1. It has very little sensitivity. Having been an electronics engineer by the education, now it is clear to me why - you simply can't cheat the laws of physics and put the receiving ferrite bar antenna inside all metal case without badly affecting the sensitivity of the receiver. I mean, here, where I live (in Latvia), this watch can only pick up the German DCF77 signal, if I carry it outdoors in the middle of a night. My other watches (also Casio Waveceptors) pick up the signal at 23:00 local time without a problem, even when on my table a few meters from the window. The reason for this is that their cases are partially plastic, which lets the radio waves to come inside without a problem.
2. The illuminating light is terrible. Instead of illuminating only the digital display from behind, as on the one of my other Casio watches, it lights up the whole face of the watch from its bottom with a bright glare, and it is almost impossible to see either the positions of the hands or the digital time on the display. Why Casio designers did it this way, is a mystery for me.
3. The face has only few marks, which glow in the dark, so it is not easy to understand what time is it (see also p.2). The second hand doesn't glow at all.

I have been looking for a watch that will withstand a very physical job and this watch is it. After a few bad experiences with the dreaded plastic faces Casio seem to be pumping out(had two replaced within four weeks so ended up just returning them) I went to the casio web site and looked at each watch spec to see which ones came with glass faces. I looked at the watches in the local jewelers (cheaky) and this one fitted the bill, It weighs good, looks good, and has a glass face, it is also cheaper on-line than in high street jewelers up to £40 in some cases so I would say this was an all round good deal. The watch came within three days better packed than my recent ones brought from high street retailers. Would recommend this watch and this seller .

This watch gives you accurate time keeping and is easy to set up with the instructions. The bracelet is just as easy to adjust, all you need is very small jewellers screwdriver and a light hammer to knock the pins out to remove the sections for size adjustment, although the clasp doesn't offer much fine adjustment. Don't be put off by its weight, once on your wrist, it's weight gives you a reassuring feeling of quality that only a well constructed watch can give you. The luminous hands and hour markers are still readable after many hours of being in the dark. All in all, a great watch for the money and will, I'm sure, give you many years of service and pleasure.
