I'm always dubious about watches that have a movie tie-in, as it makes me suspicious that I'm paying over the odds. The whole "Mission Impossible" theme seems redundant, this watch is a replacement for a near identical one I owned which was silver and had no movie associations, and if memory serves cost me about £10 less. Regretably that one was discontinued. I'm honestly not that fussed if Tom Cruise wore one or not. But because I liked it's predecessor I'll make an exception this once. At least there's no tacky logo linking it to Mission Impossible.
On the plus side, it's lighter than it looks. The radio control feature is a very useful way of keeping exact GMT and also automatically switches for daylight saving time... I can correct all the clocks in the house from this one watch.
The digital display is the easiest one to read in that price bracket, with date, time and day of the week readily accessible. It's a nice looking watch with nothing surplus on the display. It also utilises strong light sources for an extra charge, which comes in handy when the battery is low. It has the usual stopwatch features too, should you require them. It also has a good alarm mode.
On the negative side, due to the water resistant nature it has to be sent away to Casio to replace the batteries which can leave you watchless for a week or so, and my previous model stopped telling me the correct time after about 5 years. I don't know whether that's built in obselescence (every appliance seems to have that these days) or if I was just unlucky. If I'm really picky I'd also ask why the display only appears to cater for 3 timezones... what happens if you take it on a long haul holiday? Do you need a backup watch for those occasions? These minor reservations aside, for everyday use I can't find a more user-friendly watch in its price-band.

My first impressions on opening this box were, to say the least, not complementary. My current watch is a slimline titanium chronograph and here was a behemoth of black steel.
But, I decided to give it a chance and had the (far too long) bracelet adjusted. The watch fits like a glove and the extra weight is not noticeable. The functions are straight forward and the waveceptor did not need adjustment. The ability to view different timezones is important in my current role and this fits the bill.
More to the point, I have really grown to like the rugged look and feel of it, and it has garnered a number of admiring comments from my co-workers. All in all, an excellent timepiece.

I've got this watch since about two weeks and I'm really happy with it. This is another g-shock to my collection (I have two others since few years) and seems to be exactly what I was looking for! It's not tiny but pretty light. Great combination of solid materials in absolutely cool black/titanium colours. Of course 200M water resist lots of features, radio controlled and solar power it's essential for modern watch. Because I'm quite sport-active person so I must say that this timepiece can handle everything together with me!
Thing that Tom Cruise is wearing the same watch in M.I.3 is just another good reason to have this in collection for anyone who fancies that film what I do by the way. So definitely you won't be disappointed!
