Found this watch and thought it would be too good to be true for the price. In fact it has surpassed all my expectations. Shame that they don't sell the blue faced one as I would have bought that one as well.

I occasionally buy cheap watches, in a hopeless quest for my ideal cheap watch (which I can throw away rather than bother changing the battery). It should be easy to read in the dark, have a display of date and weekday which doesn't require squinting, be watertight enough so I can swim and sometimes dive with. Should also be reasonably good-looking. Amazon has noticed this and is flooding me with watch ads, but I don't really mind. Anyhow I love this one. Probably made in China, but remarkably well. Got it on my wrist right now.
Only one minor problem. It is sold as "new", in the sense of not having been previously owned, which is probably true. Yes, they are new-looking and perform as advertised. However the yellowed aspect of the plastic display stand supplied with it and the absence of the battery-saving plastic clip on the winder seems to indicate that it has spent some time displayed, running, in a store window. The question is, how long? How much battery life is left? In this case it's too soon for me to know. That's why only four stars.

I'm not generally a big fan of Casio watches since the styling of most of their watches is not to my taste. However, I saw this one advertised a while back and decided to risk it since it looked like my style which is big and chunky, and heavy so you know you've got something substantial on your wrist.
I wasn't disappointed when it arrived and it compliments my small collection of watches very well. It has the Rolex look to it in some small way, and at a fraction of the price and keeps to time very well.
The day / date feature is nice and easily readable once you've got the hang of twiddling the crown in opposite directions to get it set up properly.
I wouldn't say I find it especially easy to read in the dark, but there again its no different to most watches where you struggle to read the time when half asleep. The only solution to this problem is to have a watch with a Lumibrite face I think.
i almost feel like I should buy another at this price, but that would be greedy wouldn't it?

Watch arrived today. Looks Handsome and very chunky. Water Resistant to 200m, Screw down Crown, Great Lume. Only minor negative point is the strap is pressed stainless steel instead of solid - however is functional and for £31 is an absolute bargain.
